THE RUN
All routes take you over Titanic Rock, the most iconic rock face that welcomes you when you arrive in Clarens. The course traverses the mountains surrounding the village offering views of the Lesotho and Golden Gate Mountains, as well as the village of Clarens.
The longer 35 kilometre run takes you into a private game reserve where a variety of buck can be seen. The highest point of the run sits at 2050 meters above sea level, with an average of about 1850 meters. The routes are all very runnable with a bit of technical trekking on the steeper sections

EDITORS NOTES
EDITORS NOTES
The Clarens Village Conservancy is limited to trails that make up about 25 kilometres of the course. Neighbouring farmers have generously opened up their land to allow the 35 kilometre route to pass through segments of their unblemished, private game farms. The course offers 14 kilometres of previously untouched trails. This event is staged to raise funds for the preservation of the Clarens Nature Reserve. Walkers are welcome to enter the 10 and 21 kilometre races only.
