EDITORS NOTES

EDITORS NOTES

The Challenge is about a group of cyclists racing a team of long distance runners, from Barberton to Phalaborwa, a total distance of 428km. The cyclists, in teams of five, will each compete not only against each other but also against teams of five runners. The cyclists take on the distance in three stages, sleeping at various locations en-route.

The rules are simple, the cyclists can only ride during daylight hours, but the runners will run non-stop through the night in a relay format.

All proceeds will go to the St. Vincent School for the Deaf.
