Most of the hard work on this scenic run is done in the opening stages. There are a variety of surfaces to challenge you; open gravel roads and testing single track climbs. The descent into Wildehondekloof and Lategansvlei does have a technical component which brings you onto a scenic jeep track towards Buffelskloof. The finish boasts a beautifully sculptured old cattle track where a water crossing marks the end to this trail run.
