This is arguably the most beautiful route of the series. It starts high up in the Nuweberg forest, close to Cape Canopy Tours adventure centre. The first five kilometres of the route meander through the scenic pine forest and past the picturesque Nuweberg Dam. Once across the tar road, the scenery changes as you get to explore the trails below Groenlandberg. The views are spectacular along this stretch, which is where you drop most of the altitude. The course passes through the event centre at Fruitways at the 10 kilometre mark.

The 21 kilometre course then crosses the odd stream or two as you make your way along the single track and forestry roads that lead you around the spectacular Eikenhof Dam to the finish at Fruitways.

The five kilometre is a circular route, runners and walkers have a variety of terrain with a beautiful section along a river. You still get a chance to stretch your legs on gravel roads through the forest and orchards.

Buses are provided by the organisers to take you from the finish venue to the start at Nuweberg from 07h00. Bus tickets are included in the entry. There is parking at the finish venue.
