There are two distances on offer. The longer 21 kilometre route is a challenging run that starts with a two kilometre gentle climb. There are single-track sections that take you up the Gemsbok Ravine. From the summit there is a short rest before you descend Bashers Link passing Aloe and Bashers Dam in the direction of Khanni Lodge and the finish. The shorter 10 kilometre course takes the most direct route to Khanni Lodge and is well suited to the not-so-fit and novices. Along the route you are likely to see a variety of flowers and a variety of animals including gemsbok, red hartebeest, zebra, hippos and many more.
