This race goes over the mountainous parts of the nature trail through the Zuurberg Mountain Range. Although the trail is far by normal standards it is not quite so extreme. The route is marked with boards and chevron tape.

There is a shuttle service running from Hayterdale Trails to the start at the Kabouga Gate. There is also a shuttle service from the finish at Zuurberg back to Hayterdale Trails and Addo Main.
