This challenging race is run over three different legs. There is a wide variety of surfaces to contend with and the routes balance out technical stretches of single-track with easy going jeep-track and gravel roads.
Distance: 6 kilometres. Total ascent: 175 metres.
This is an undemanding scenic run over and under the Komati Cliffs.
Distance: 14 kilometres. Total ascent: 495 metres.
The tough start will spread the field. This is the longest leg and it offers a challenging run through the gorge, through the forests and over a dam.
Distance: 12 kilometres. Total ascent: 600 metres.
This may well be the toughest of all three legs. It involves a demanding climb for almost seven kilometres. The trail takes you past a waterfall.
