The half marathon and 10 kilometre are limited to 200 entrants each. Registration takes place on the Friday before the race at the start between 17h00 and 19h00. Late entries taken at the start from 06h00.

THE RUN
This is a beautiful trail run in the mountainous areas of the Ebenezer Dam. Both the half marathon and the shorter 10 kilometre route follow village streets, earth roads, firebreaks and single track. Part of the route is run along rough and dangerous mountain track. The going can become a bit hairy and you are urged to exercise extreme caution on these sections. The half marathon features a climb of over 680 metres to the top of Iron Crown, the highest point in Limpopo.

The race is run in a forestry and nature conservation area during the fire season. Consequently no open flames are allowed and access to the route is limited to official vehicles only. Walkers are welcome to enter the 10 kilometre and five kilometre races only. Funds raised will go towards approved Rotary ‘Preserve Planet Earth’ projects.
