THE RUN
There are four distances on offer – all walks start at uShaka Marine World and head north along the promenade. A feature of all the distances is Durban’s seaboard. The five kilometre route turns off early while the longer walks continue in the direction of Blue Lagoon. To be sure all the routes are easy and flat and will be gentle on even the most unfit soul.

This event celebrates its 12th anniversary in 2015 and began as a fun walk aimed at family participation. This idea remains central to the day. Comrades Marathon aside it is arguably the biggest race in KwaZulu-Natal. This information was taken from the 2014 Guide.
