This tail run offers three routes of varying lengths and difficulty. It takes you through the forests made famous by Daleen Mathee. You will pass through Krisjan-se-Nek where her ashes are scattered as well as the site of the 880-year-old yellowwood tree known as the Daleen Mathee Big Tree.
The longer 24 kilometre route is best suited to confident trail runners. There are some challenging technical aspects that are daunting and should only be tackled by seasoned campaigners.
The intermediate 16 kilometre route is suitable for the average runner wanting to gain trail experience. It contains one optional technical section that can be skipped if you so wish.
The nine kilometre trail is gentle yet exciting, a real treat for a novice.
