THE RUN
This is a moderate to fast route that is undulating and scenic. You run for approximately six kilometres through Hilton and the rest of the route through wattle, pine and gum forests. The lowest elevation is 1,080 metres and the highest is 1,220 metres above sea level. The organisers alter the route each year to suit forestry activity.

The race was started in 1979 as a memorial run for Ronnie Davel, an ex-member of the club who died of a heart attack. It is a relaxed, fun event and families can enjoy a six kilometre fun run.
