Both the half marathon and the 10 kilometre are moderate routes. Part of the half marathon route is run on the Agricultural Research Council's Irene Farm with the balance around the beautiful and scenic Irene Dairy Farm, the Irene Golf Course and the farmstyle Southdowns Residential Estate. The 10 kilometre race is run on the farm and also goes past the Southdowns Estate. Little traffic along the route adds to the enjoyment of this well organised race.
