This is a well balanced and challenging double lapper. The first three kilometres are run through the grounds of the CSIR. This should prove a fairly stern test for even the fittest. The second third of the route goes through the quiet suburb of Brummeria and should provide little problems. The last stretch back inside the CSIR grounds is testing but there is always the chance of spotting duiker and other small fauna on your way to the finish line.
