Housed and catered for over 300 indigent athletes

Collectively raised R22000 for each of Pietermaritzburg Community Chest, PinkDrive and More Balls Than Most. This does not include the funds raised themselves.

We supported the SA Legion Military Vets poppy campaign and gave 2 bakkie loads of food.  Apart from the service providers providing Speedfence, Toilets, etc, etc, we created employment for over 500 “mandays” during the course of the set up, event and breakdown.  On race day there are about 600 volunteers involved.

Over 2500 marathon finishers qualified for Comrades and Two Oceans Marathons in 5 hours.
