Pre-entries are available at local sports shops in the Vaal Triangle and Johannesburg. Late entries are accepted at the start for the 10 km and fun run on the Saturday before the race and at the start from 04h30. No entries are taken for the marathon and half marathon on race day.

THE RUN
This two lapper gently meanders through the four suburbs of Vereeniging and along the Suikerbos, Vaal and Klip Rivers. While it is fair to say that the route is flat, it is by no means the easiest marathon; you will have to work the whole way.

Walkers are welcome to enter the half marathon. This is the biggest event in the Vaal Triangle and will celebrate its 46th anniversary in 2021. It is highly recommended as a flat and fast Comrades qualifier and attracts hundreds of runners from the Reef. It is a short 45 minute drive from Johannesburg. The race has well appointed watering tables, fun filled entertainment along the route and an exceptional finishing venue.
