THE RUN
This race is run in and around the shaded streets on the outskirts of Polokwane. The marathon provides some challenge in the form of ‘one of those’ grinding hills near the end. The good news is that this is followed by an easy eight kilometre canter to the finish. The event is characterised by fresh morning breezes and the possibility of game sightings.
