Pre-entries only for the Marthon and Half Marathon distances.

Entries are limited to 5,000 for the Marathon, 4,000 for the Half Marathon, 3,000 for the 10 kilometre race and 1,000 for the five kilometre race.

Late entries and race pack collection for the 10 & 5 kilometre races taken at the venue from 12h00-19h00 on the 29th and 30th April 2020 and on race day from 04h15.

EDITORS NOTES

The Wally Hayward Marathon has been consistently ranked in a number of our surveys as a well organised and well presented event. This historic race will be run for the 43rd time in 2019. This will be the ninth time the event is held as a memorial run. It is a tribute to a great runner and a great man, Wally Hayward. With the combined size of the field, which exceeded 11,000, early arrival at the venue is essential. A family dog walk in aid of the SPCA will start at 17h00.
