THE RUN
This is a beautiful figure-of-eight route that follows the edge of the Midmar Dam for most of the race. It is moderately challenging with a few hills. About a third of the route is on a gravel road through the game park.

The marathon and 32 kilometre races have a 05:00 time limit. Walkers are welcome to enter in the 15 kilometre event which has a 03:00 time limit. The kiddie’s one kilometre fun run starts at 09h00. Arrive early to avoid congestion at the entrance to the dam.
